ROLE OVERVIEW
Lockheed Martin is seeking a CISO to lead cybersecurity for the world's largest defense contractor. The role requires active Top Secret/SCI clearance and will oversee security for classified defense programs, advanced weapons systems, and critical national security infrastructure across 100,000+ employees.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead enterprise cybersecurity strategy for a $67B defense and aerospace company
Oversee security for classified programs including F-35, hypersonic weapons, and space systems
Manage CMMC Level 3 compliance and DoD cybersecurity requirements across all business areas
Lead cyber threat intelligence and nation-state threat response programs
Partner with NSA, CISA, and DoD on critical infrastructure protection initiatives
Oversee insider threat program and security clearance management for 60,000+ cleared personnel
REQUIREMENTS
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required
15+ years of cybersecurity experience with defense or intelligence community background
Deep knowledge of CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, and DoD cybersecurity requirements
Experience managing security for classified programs and controlled unclassified information (CUI)
Prior CISO or senior security leadership at a defense prime or intelligence agency
CISSP required; ISSEP or ISSM preferred
