ROLE OVERVIEW

Google Cloud is seeking a Deputy CISO to lead security strategy and customer trust programs for its enterprise cloud business. This role partners with the Google Cloud CISO and reports to the VP of Engineering, with responsibility for security across GCP infrastructure, enterprise products, and the growing AI/ML platform.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead security strategy for Google Cloud's enterprise business serving 10,000+ enterprise customers
Oversee FedRAMP High authorization and US government cloud security programs
Drive customer security assurance including SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA BAA programs
Lead Google Cloud Security Command Center product security and customer advisory programs
Partner with Mandiant (Google Cloud Security) on threat intelligence and incident response
Represent Google Cloud security in enterprise customer executive briefings and RFP responses

REQUIREMENTS

12+ years of cybersecurity experience with cloud or enterprise technology background
Prior CISO or Deputy CISO experience at a cloud provider or large enterprise
Deep expertise in cloud security architecture, identity, and data protection
Experience with FedRAMP authorization and US government security requirements
Strong customer-facing executive communication skills
Google Cloud security certifications preferred
